- WATER-STOP is a thin load bearing, bonded, sheet membrane for waterproofing applications.
- Installed using an appropriate thin-set mortar and with the W-S waterproofing accessories; bands, tapes, corners and flashings, is a complete assembly bonding together to create a watertight layer.
- The bonded waterproof membrane system gives better moisture control by protecting all substrate below tiles from water getting under the surface and stagnating, so that the tiling base is free of saturated material, mold grow, bad smell and moisture deterioration.
- WATER-STOP meets the American National Standard for Thin-Set Ceramic Tile and Dimension Stone Installations ANSI A118.10 for Load Bearing, Bonded, Waterproof Membranes and ANSI A118.12 for Crack Isolation Membranes.
- It is in compliance with The Uniform Plumbing Code and The International Plumbing Code.
- WATER-STOP membrane is an IAPMO listed product (files 9205 and 9990).
